Wine Discovery - Terra Cranta Merlot Cabernet Pays d'Oc
Today I'm going to talk about Terra Cranta Merlot cabernet Pays d'Oc produced by the Quarante growers cooperative in the Languedoc. In these tumultuous times I thought it would be good to go back to our roots with this marvellous Merlot Cabernet.
Produced from vineyards in the Pays d'Oc, this wine at first glance presents strong aromas of pepper and spices. Those notes are then accompanied by hints of red fruit and berries, very characteristic of this blend. As a matter of fact Merlot will bring a velvety fruitiness, Whereas the Cabernet will bring a fullbodied character to the wine with a hint of tannins on the finish.
On the palate we will find some beautiful notes of red berries and blackcurrant which accompany perfectly the strength and character of the spices. On the finish the pinch of tannins will come and embellish, creating a perfect red wine pairing for tasty dishes with lots of flavours.
To taste with dishes full of flavours such as red meats and cheeses.
Today I chose to pair this red wine with cheeses full of character.
Manchego AOP 12 months

In the meantime I wish you all a marvellous day full of discoveries.
